Length of fellowship

  1. The first fellowship year is a dedicated research year with 80% protected time. Fellows have numerous potential options for the research year including work in translational basic sciences, biomedical engineering, biomarker development and validation, health services research, patient-centered outcomes research, and educational innovation.
  2. The second fellowship year is clinically focused and is comprised of organ-specific rotations for operative experience and exposure to multidisciplinary urologic cancer care.

Application requirements

Prerequisites/post-medical school requirements: Candidates must have completed an ACGME-approved residency in urology or the equivalent. The applicant must have passed all 3 steps of USMLE exam and be eligible for a WA State Medical License.

  • At least 3 letters of recommendation (1) letter of support from their urology training program director recommending them for the fellowship and attesting to the candidate’s successful completion of the urology training program.
  • Personal Statement

Interview dates: Fridays, March 29 and April 19, 2024
Match date: Thursday, June 20, 2024
