Length of fellowship
- The first fellowship year is a dedicated research year with 80% protected time. Fellows have numerous potential options for the research year including work in translational basic sciences, biomedical engineering, biomarker development and validation, health services research, patient-centered outcomes research, and educational innovation.
- The second fellowship year is clinically focused and is comprised of organ-specific rotations for operative experience and exposure to multidisciplinary urologic cancer care.

Application requirements
Prerequisites/post-medical school requirements: Candidates must have completed an ACGME-approved residency in urology or the equivalent. The applicant must have passed all 3 steps of USMLE exam and be eligible for a WA State Medical License.
