Biography
Jeff Renner serves as Vice Chair of Finance and Administration for the UW Department of Urology. He provides strategic and operational leadership across finance, human resources, and administrative infrastructure, partnering with the Chair and department leadership to support Urology's clinical, research, and educational missions.
Jeff brings years of experience in academic medicine administration, including leadership roles at the University of Washington and Virginia Commonwealth University. His work has spanned clinical practice, research, and faculty affairs, with a focus on building clear, transparent systems that help faculty and leaders make sound decisions. He holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest with his spouse and their dog, Theo, as well as cheering on Seattle’s local sports teams.
