Tova Weiss was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. For college, she studied at Rice University, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience. After college, she was accepted to LSU School of Medicine but chose to defer for one year. She worked for a start up in Tel-Aviv for six months while learning Hebrew in a local school. She then backpacked across Europe and Southeast Asia for 6 months, visiting 17 countries in total. She has a passion for traveling and exploring different countries by immersing herself in their culture and cuisine.
After her gap year, she matriculated into LSU School of Medicine, where she became interested in medical education and curriculum reform and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Since moving to Seattle, in her free time, she enjoys eating at new restaurants, playing tennis, hiking, and skiing.
