Biography

Dr. Salvador Jaime Casas was born and raised in Mexico City. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Panamericana, graduating cum laude before moving to the United States to pursue advanced training in academic medicine.

He completed a research fellowship at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center, where his work focused on kidney and bladder cancer. His broader interests center on genitourinary cancer genomics and prognostic biomarkers. For his work, he was awarded the Outstanding Research Award for Clinical Research from an Early Trainee at the Kidney Cancer Research Summit.

Beyond his work, Sal is a devoted Lord of the Rings and Star Wars LEGO enthusiast and an avid gamer. He recently traded the Southern California sunshine for the Pacific Northwest and is happily enjoying the paddleboarding and hiking scene in Seattle with his bulldog, Luna.
