Biography

Joshua Caldwell, MD is a urology resident in the 5-year clinical track of the Urology Residency Program at the University of Washington. He grew up in Kansas City, MO before completing his bachelor of science degree in Nuclear Engineering at the United States Military Academy, at West Point, NY.

Prior to starting medical school, served as a Captain in the US Army as an attack helicopter pilot over multiple deployments to Afghanistan. He then earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA where he conducted bladder cancer research as an AUA Summer Medical Student Fellow. Dr. Caldwell is a member of Gold Humanism Honor Society and the American Urological Association.

In his spare time, he enjoys private aviation, running, and outdoor pursuits.
