Biography

Arash Amighi was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics. He went on to obtain his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He participated in bench research in prostate cancer as well as translational studies on Peyronie’s disease. He was awarded an AUA summer medical student fellowship as well as UCLA’s Dean’s Leadership in Health and Science Scholarship. Arash was drawn to urology residency training at the University of Washington because of the diversity of clinical training sites and amazing culture of the program.

Outside of the hospital Arash enjoys exploring the nature around Seattle, barbecuing, running and cooking.
