Biography
Danny Salevitz, MD, MS earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Johns Hopkins University, followed by a Special Master’s program at Georgetown University. He completed medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and a five-year Urology residency at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. His research has focused on patient outcomes after pediatric surgery, postoperative pain management, neonatal circumcision, and pediatric urolithiasis. As a fellow, Dr. Salevitz is particularly interested in pediatric stone disease, transitional care for complex congenital patients, and patient-centered surgical outcomes. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hiking, exploring local restaurants, and board games with his wife, Isabel.
