Biography
Dr. Poniatowski is a pediatric urologist at Seattle Children’s Hospital and Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Washington. She earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, completed urology residency at the University of Washington and pediatric urology fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital. She also holds a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Minnesota where she graduated summa cum laude.

Clinical interests
Dr. Poniatowski treats any pediatric urology conditions. She has a special interest in genitourinary reconstruction as well as minimally invasive techniques including robotic and laparoscopic surgery.
Research description
Dr. Poniatowski has a research interest in surgical simulation science and its applications in surgical education and training. She completed her ACS/AEI Simulation Fellowship and is involved in surgical simulation efforts through the ASPIRE program at Seattle Children’s and CREST at the University of Washington. She is currently an adjunct faculty member in the Division of Healthcare Simulation Science within the University of Washington Department of Surgery and serves as the simulation pillar lead for the Seattle Children’s Hospital ASPIRE program.
