Congratulating the 2020 Graduating UW Urology Chief Residents and Fellows

The department of Urology would like to congratulate our departing Chief Residents and Fellows for AY 2020-2021:

Chief Residents – Tony Chen, Jessica Dai and Chino Okoro

Fellows – Akash Kapadia (Andrology), Ian Metzler (Endourology), Yaw Nyame (Urologic Oncology), Alexander Skokan (Genitourinary Reconstruction (GURS), and Katie Canalichio (Pediatric Urology).

It is usually customary for faculty and the chair to provide remarks about the departing Chief Residents and Fellows at a graduation ceremony. Due to the continuing social distancing, and safety measure in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19, in lieu of holding that ceremony in person, we  have put together what is hoped to be a new tradition in our department: A video of thanks, congratulations and a salute to our graduates from the faculty of our department. As the graduates transition to the next chapter of their promising careers as Urologists, this video memorializes their contributions and value to our department. It is something to be shared among colleagues as well as family and friends, in lieu of formal graduation ceremonies.
