Biography
I’m Dani Townsend, the Education Program Specialist for the Department of Urology.
I was born and raised in Washington, DC where I received my B.S. in Psychology from Howard University. I worked within the university in a few positions until I landed as the Residency Program Coordinator for the Departments of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry in the College of Dentistry. After 2+ years in that position, I was recruited as the Administrative Coordinator at Scott Circle Communications, a small purpose-driven Public Relations and Communications firm. I missed working in academic healthcare and was interested in moving to the Seattle area, which led me to this amazing position.
I have been a HU Bison my entire life, and I’m super excited to now be a UW Husky!
