Biography

Shola Olaoluwa was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and spent her early years in Lagos, Nigeria, creating a diverse cultural background that continues to influence her perspective in medicine. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology at THE Ohio State University. Continuing her academic journey, Dr. Olaoluwa completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) and obtained her medical degree from Wright State University. Her exceptional academic achievements led to her induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society during medical school, recognizing her dedication to excellence and leadership in healthcare.

Shola’s research and clinical interests include addressing healthcare disparities, enhancing quality improvement initiatives, advancing men’s health issues, and contributing to medical education. 

Outside of her professional pursuits, she finds fulfillment in exploring different cultures through travel, reading novels, aerial arts, and seeking solace in the serene natural landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
