Biography
Monika was born in Poland and grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. She moved to Washington, D.C. to study International Relations at American University, but decided to pursue a biochemistry major and a career in medicine instead. She remained in DC for another four years and obtained her medical degree from Georgetown University. She then completed her residency training in Urology at the University of Texas - San Antonio.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring new places and trying new foods, hiking, and running along the bay.
