Carrie is from central Pennsylvania and completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and French at Vanderbilt University. Following graduation, she worked at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, a Global Health research institute at the University of Washington where she studied the global burden of kidney and urinary diseases. During this time, she completed her MPH in Global Health Metrics and Evaluation at the UW. She returned to Philadelphia for medical school at Thomas Jefferson University where she was elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

 

Carrie enjoys playing board games, spending time in the great outdoors, and exploring the local concert scene.
