“I had an incredibly enriching operative and clinical experience during my endourology fellowship with Drs. Harper, Sweet and Sorensen. The multi-disciplinary clinic at the UW Kidney Stone Center was excellent training in the operative management and medical prevention of complex kidney stone patients. Additionally, the robotic experience in the treatment of ureteral obstruction at UWMC was outstanding due to the large referral base of UW. All the faculty and staff I worked with on the clinical and research sides were exceptional educators and colleagues.”

The Department of Urology is proud to have students like Dr. Metzler who further strengthen our program’s mission to heal, comfort, teach and wonder. He is now an Assistant Professor at the OHSU Medical Center.
