Biography
Peter Kirk was born and raised in Seattle, WA. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Colby College, in Waterville, ME, where he graduated summa cum laude with honors in cell and molecular biology and biochemistry. He then conducted research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the University of Washington Genitourinary Oncology laboratory. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and also obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Research from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. His research interests include health services and improving the delivery of care to survivors of urologic cancers.
In his spare time Peter enjoys spending time with his wife and pets, hiking and being outdoors, and following the Seattle Seahawks. He also enjoys playing guitar and snowboarding.
