Jennifer is from Los Angeles, CA and did her undergraduate degree as well as medical school at UCLA. During medical school, her interests were in medical education, medical education research, resource development, and curriculum development. She also did research in the fields of cardiology, head and neck surgery, and urology. Jennifer was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. She received the Viola Hyde Scholarship for women in surgery and the American Medical Women’s Association graduation award. Jennifer was drawn to urology residency training at University of Washington because of its amazing clinical training and the incredible culture of its residents and attendings. Outside of the hospital, she is a huge NBA/NFL fan, is an accomplished classical violinist, and arranges music for/sings in a medical a cappella group called Do No Harmony.
