Biography

Ronen Bar-El is a nurse practitioner for the UWMC Urology Prostate team, who regularly cares for patients with BPH, voiding issues, and post-operative prostatectomy care.

Ronen earned his Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Binghamton in 2009. He worked as an RN in the ER and Intervention radiology settings in hospitals for several years before earning his Master’s Degree from SUNY Binghamton in 2012. Ronen is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Ronen has extensive experience working in Urology in-patient and out-patient settings since 2012 due to his passion for completing and assisting with urologic procedures.

Patent Care Philosophy
My efforts are focused on providing compassionate respectful care with emphasis on patient centered care, in order to improve on the quality of care outcomes by incorporating the patient in every aspect of the process with full transparency so everyone is fully informed to make the best recommendations with the patient’s values and preferences in mind throughout the urologic care experience.

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board in 2012.

Hiking, traveling, running, camping, kayaking, kite surfing, reading, cooking, volunteering, and spending time with family.
