Biography
Maahum Haider, M.D., M.P.H. is a physician at UWMC-Roosevelt Men’s Health Center and the Puget Sound Veterans Administration Hospital and a UW assistant professor of Urology.
Dr. Haider’s goal is to form a partnership with patients built on trust, compassion and shared decision making. She believes all patients are entitled to the most up-to-date knowledge and insight on their disease process so they can be actively engaged in their care.
Dr. Haider earned her M.D. at UCLA and her M.P.H. at the UW. She is a member of the American Urologic Association and Society for Women in Urology and is a board member for IVUmed, an international urologic NGO. Dr. Haider’s clinical interests include the treatment of kidney stones, bothersome urinary symptoms, obstruction and incontinence. Her research interests include minimally invasive technologies for the treatment of BPH and global health equity and training.”

Dr. Haider enjoys music, traveling, hiking, international cuisine, water sports and snowboarding.
