Biography

Ireland is a Washington native who grew up in Kent, and attended the University of Washington to receive her bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Studies. During her time as a student she worked in the Department of Urology as an HR Special Projects Assistant. She graduated in March of 2020 as the world was closing due to Covid-19. To fill the time, she became an ANFT-certified Forest Therapy Guide and started her own nature therapy business. Eventually she became interested in stepping into the corporate world, which led her right back to HR. She earned her Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential and became the HR Generalist/Benefits and Office Manager for a construction subcontractor. Eager to expand her HR capacity, she came back to the University of Washington’s Department of Urology to surround herself with talented and knowledgeable professionals that she is very excited to learn from and grow with. She is so happy to be back on the team!
